:help::help: I went to the Ticker Factory and made myself a ticker. How do you get it to attach to the page. ?? Do you use the code: ??

NM Sunshine - use the code - cut and paste it and put it in your signature area. Some people have to do it more than once for it to stick. Good luck, hope that helps!

Vikki - thanks so much for your advice!

I went to signature under my profile and everything I do I come up with 'invalid' ;)

I know computers well. This is about totaly frustrating. I put my code on an empty web page and it, the image, came right up.

I just went to the doctor today to weigh in (I had to go on a liquids only diet because I had gained weight between consults) and found out I lost 11 pounds since last Wednesday! I just need to lose between 4 and 9 pounds before September 17. Let's hope I can do it. On a side note, I'd give anything for a Tomato right now. Is that really called cheating?

Katmeg99 - You can do this! An 11 lbs weightloss already is a huge success in itself on a liquid diet. ;)

You are scheduled for the same date as me 9/18/07.:whoo:

You can be my band twin. lol I'll be there for you for motivation and support. I start my pre-op diet on Saturday and I will definately be needing all the help I can get. :cheer2::banana

Poohlrv I think it is this new windows Vista and all the internet security stuff it has. I need to figure out (among a hundred choices) what in my browser, Vista or Norton is keeping me from displaying the URL. Anyone else have the New Vista?

i had my band yesterday and am home now since an hr ago.

i feel great. just tired. i haven't had any pain yet... which surprised me.

the surgeon told me that everything went reallly well no problems

and today i had the leak test and got to see the band. it was cool watching the liquid barium go down and follow the trail. he said perfect!

so i go back to him next week. i'm on a full liquid diet for one more week next week i'll get soft foods.

The nurses were wonderful. i was the only patient last night and the 3 of them liked that.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
