MyFitnessPal bug is getting to me....

OK, this is truly a very minor rant, but I wanted to say it anyway.

I have lost nearly 75 lbs since I started keeping track on MFP in May, but it keeps telling me I have only lost 37 on my home screen????. When I look at the progress screen for six months it has it right, but when it posts updates and milestones it is just off. This is the info it shares with my friends on MFP. I am sure it has to do with an old weight I put in several years ago while doing another dieting phase, but it really bugs me to get the notices congratulating me for only half my weight loss. Can't figure out how to fix it.

Like I said, a minor rant. I know how much I have lost, how good I am looking in clothes, and how great I feel. I don't need MFP to validate me, just miffed it can't seem to do simple math. ????

Under the "check-in" tab you can edit previous entries including your starting weight.

MFP lies to me all the time. It tells me "If I keep eating like the way I did today, I'll weigh xx amount in 5 weeks!"

I have never hit the amount it saId I would in 5 weeks. LIES!!

Yes, under the check in tab is where I found it too. But, I had to log in on via the web, I couldn't find the check in tab on the app.

FItbit and the app I use to track my food, Lifesum both change my weight to like XXX.9. I dunno if they are converting LB to kilos and back to pounds and that is creating it but it annoys the heck out me. The only app that keeps it exact is S Health

Unless you zeroed it out before you started using it post-op, it won't rest. It's counting that previous weight loss. I did the same thing. Mine is 2 - 3 lbs off. I supposed you could try email admin, but honestly I just ignore it. The correct weight loss is on here and on my polar flow app. so I just shrug it off.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
