Just looking for Mo people just starting this journey or already in their way.

What part of MO are you from? I'm in Kansas City.

I'm doing well so far. Some days are better than others and some things are slow going. I'm five weeks out so I'm trying to figure out what I can eat and what I can't. Slowly adding things back in. So far, no major issues to speak of though. Outside of the fact that this week I've been plagued with nausea. Best of luck to you.

Hi ladies another Missourian I'm from the St. Louis area just found this post hope you all are still here. My surgery is set for Jan. 27th Best Wishes to you both and how are things going for you all so far on this journey?

I'm also in the St. Louis area. Having the surgery Jan. 4th. Currently struggling with a 2 week clear liquid diet lol.

Good to hear from you which program are you going through? I am going through Dr. Morales at ssm depaul . Lucky me I only have to do a 1 wk liquid fast I'm so nervous and not even as close to my date as you. Hope we can keep in touch through this journey ????.

I am going through Dr. Van Wagner with Heart of America Bariatrics. I will be getting my surgery at Mercy Jefferson hospital in Festus. I'm getting pretty nervous too trying to take it one day at a time. We should definitely keep in contact. I've been looking for some support/ someone to talk to about this stuff! :D

I know the protein fast is hard but just look at all the weight you will lose before your surgery that's less you will have to worry about after surgery. Make sure you let me know how your feeling coming out of surgery. This is the first I have ever heard of this Bariatric center I thought I called them all when I was searching. Good luck to a new u.

My particular diet is called clear liquid so no protein shakes unfortunately. But I have lost 20 lbs in 7 days. Which is awesome! I will definitely let you know how I feel after surgery and any tips I learn or anything! I'm happy to have a sleeve friend :)
