Anyone having surgery in November?

I finally got my date it's November 19th at 3:30. I go for my pre op appointment on Tuesday. I'm a mix of emotions. I am excited and ready to start this but having some anxiety about the actual surgery. This will be my first time undergoing something of this nature. I am also curious how everyone felt right after and how long before you were up and around? I have 3 kids 2 of which I homeschool my husband will be home to help out for a week but after that he goes back to work, he is an over the road truck driver so I am hoping I am doing well by then.

My surgery date is Nov 30th. I start pre op diet 11/16. I have a rambunctious 16 month old. I am nervous about surgery too. Wanna be surgery buddies?

I am scheduled on November 3. This is not my first "rodeo" so to speak, but feeling anxious to move forward to lose weight and get some of eroded health back!

I'm scheduled for Nov 30th. My preop starts Nov 16th.

I would love to be surgery buddies!

Wow...our dates are exactly the same Stephanie! Right now I am researching and trying different supplements. I tried a cherry b-12 sublingual that was super gross. Hoping to find something better. Gonna try Bariatric advantage berry multi vitamin chews...I am hoping it tastes like a starburst:)

Are you feeling hungry or did you feel adjusted to partial liquid diet after a few days? Any favorite foods/drinks? Good luck with surgery...must be on Monday?

My date is also November 30th. It seems like there are alot of us with that date!!!! Yay!

I have tried just about every Multivitamin, Calcium citrate, and Vit B12.

I highly recommend Bariatric fusion mixed berry multivitamin soft chews. They are fantastic and don't taste like a vitamin at all. $22.99 for one month supply. 3 chews twice daily.

OR

For cheaper version ONCE a day Procare chewable Multivitamin (size is not bigger than as aspirin)

$11.99 for one month supply.

These are very popular as there are not many Vitamins out there that you can get away with only taking once, they have been on backorder.

calcium citrate I highly recommend

Bariatric Advantage 500mg in Caramel flavor. Delicious!!! Tastes like a caramel butterscotch. They are a bit pricey though.

Vitamin B12, I highly recommend the Celebrate sublingual quick melt in mint flavor. These taste great, like a sweet mint, and melts super quick. Very reasonable price 15.95 for 3 month supply
