After the first 3 to 4 days, I wasn't really hungry. At first, I felt like a truck hit me but now I'm ok with it. I have been on a liquid diet since 10/21, clear liquids the day before surgery. I am from Georgia. I am so excited- I can't wait to have it over and done! bless your heart! When is your surgery?

I'm on day 5 of my 10 day liquid diet. It definitely hasn't been easy!

I am a second grade teacher and I am scared to death that I'll get sick before Monday. Pray and use lots of hanitizer...that's also known as hand sanitizer to my kids.

Today was much better. I have grown to hate the Proteinshakes but chug them just because I know I have to have them. V8 and egg drop Souphave been my saving grace. Have you found any way to help with the shakes?

Sounds good! The only thing is, no one on my page knows about my surgery. You can look me up.

It's your life so make the decision based on what is best for you. I have researched the lap band also but chose to not have it based on the success rates and also the opinion of my surgeon. If you feel that the band will work for you then get it and rock it!
