  1. I finally got my date it's November 19th at 3:30. I go for my pre op appointment on Tuesday. I'm a mix of emotions. I am excited and ready to start this but having some anxiety about the actual surgery. This will be my first time undergoing something of this nature. I am also curious how everyone felt right after and how long before you were up and around? I have 3 kids 2 of which I homeschool my husband will be home to help out for a week but after that he goes back to work, he is an over the road truck driver so I am hoping I am doing well by then.
  2. I ordered a variety pack of the bariatric fusion shakes. I received cinnamon bun, choc mousse, vanilla, mint choc Chip, orange cream, strawberries and cream, and unflavored. They also sent a sample of the calcium chews. I liked the raspberry and the caramel. It also came very fast!!
  3. Mine is the 19th. I start my liquid reduction diet the 5th. Feeling excited!

    Anyone having surgery in November?

My date is also November 30th. It seems like there are alot of us with that date!!!! Yay! I have tried just about every multivitamin, calcium citrate, and Vit B12. I highly recommend Bariatric fusion mixed berry multivitamin soft chews. They are fantastic and don't taste like a vitamin at all. $22.99 for one month supply. 3 chews twice daily. http://bariatricfusion.com/soft-chews-mixed-berry-flavor.html OR For cheaper version ONCE a day Procare chewable Multivitamin (size is not bigger than as aspirin) $11.99 for one month supply. These are very popular as there are not many Vitamins out there that you can get away with only taking once, they have been on backorder. http://www.procarenow.com/BACKORDEREDBariatric-Complete-Chewable-MultiVitamin-Once-Per-Day--Formulated-for-Roux-en-Y-Vertical-Sleeve-Duodenal-Switch-30-Day-Supply_p_10002.html Calcium Citrate I highly recommend Bariatric Advantage 500mg in Caramel flavor. Delicious!!! Tastes like a caramel butterscotch. They are a bit pricey though. Vitamin B12, I highly recommend the Celebrate sublingual quick melt in mint flavor. These taste great, like a sweet mint, and melts super quick. Very reasonable price 15.95 for 3 month supply I just tried the calcium chews from bariatric advantage and I totally agree the caramel is awesome I also like the raspberry. I just got a variety pack of bariatric fusion shake mixes I am trying all the flavors to see which one I would like to go with for my liquid reduction diet! Thanks for the info.

  10. I was told no juicing unless an all green juice and even then my new stomach might reject it and of course PROTEIN first they said. But I would definitely ask your nutritionist.
