November 10th Surgery Date!

Hi there,

I just got a surgery date of November 10th. I am very excited but nervous as well. Was wondering if anyone else was having surgery on or around that date? Maybe we could support each other through the pre op diet and the rest of this journey?

Cheers!

@@mokt I have already had my surgery (6 months post-op) but I just wanted to say congratulations on getting your date! A month from now you will be in such a different place...best of luck to you on this journey.

Thanks so much for the encouraging words!

Do you really wake up and are not hungry after surgery? I just dont know what that feels like and am so worried I won't be successful. Can you tell me what your experience has been like so far and anything that you read or did that was useful and might help me?

How are you doing 6 months out?

Congratulations to you as well!!

That's great! Congratulations! What does your Preop diet look like? I have 2 shakes and then protein and veggies for supper and another shake at night if I want.

Monica.... I'm right there with you!! I left the surgeon yesterday elated instead of my usual crying lol because I actually gained 15lbs since my 1st visit 6mo ago... But I lost the 8lbs he required in 3wks! I quit smoking and was also in a deep depression and continued to make excuses for myself!! #nomoreexcuses

I just got my date, it's Nov 4th :) my liquid diet started today...full liquids, 4 shakes a day and I can have sugar free jello and sugar free drinks like Powerade and broths
