I finally got my date it's November 19th at 3:30. I go for my pre op appointment on Tuesday. I'm a mix of emotions. I am excited and ready to start this but having some anxiety about the actual surgery. This will be my first time undergoing something of this nature. I am also curious how everyone felt right after and how long before you were up and around? I have 3 kids 2 of which I homeschool my husband will be home to help out for a week but after that he goes back to work, he is an over the road truck driver so I am hoping I am doing well by then.

Mine is Nov 30th in bellevue Wa at overlake hospital!!!!

My liver reduction diet starts Tuesday so two weeks before surgery. I have my pre-op appointments tomorrow. You?

My surgery date is Nov 9th. I am currently on a pre op diet, but I don't have to do a liquid diet.

What's your diet the day before? My surgery is tomorrow also.

eat we have a meal plan that's 1200 cal by 6pm (just finished) and nothing but clear liquids until midnight. After that nothing lol.

mine was yesterday too. I didn't have a liver shrinking diet either. Just eat whatever til Sunday night then it was clear liquids til midnight and then nothing at all. The surgery was surprisingly not so bad! I don't even have any real pain except from a super dry throat!

that is my problem is my throat and a little pain in my belly but about to get meds for thst
