Torso, from shoulders to my waist. My band size for my bras dropped fast!

My face was the first thing I noticed.

They say, when losing weight, fat is lost from the most recent place it was stored.

So it takes a long time to lose weight in areas like the stomach and hips

- which are the first places we tend to store fat.

For me, I only gained weight in my face in the last 3 years pre-op,

and that's where I saw the most changes right after surgery.

I started in a 46DD. I'm now wearing a 40 D or DD depending on brand. I'm wearing my bras on the 3rd hook, so I'm think I should be able to try a 38 D /DD soon, even if I need to use a bra extender for a little while.

I'm about half way to my goal, so I'm hoping for a 34/36 D when all is said and done

@@byebyefat thanks! My surgery was 4/28, I'm 5 months out.

I went back to work at 3 weeks post op, so I vividly remember how I felt. Lots of uncertainty for me, and hopefulness. Now I'm just confident!

Face definitely, followed closely by butt. Boobs sadly, are still in the Grand Tetons arena.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
