Hi. My name is Nik. I finally had a chance to slow down and say hello. I am having the lap band placed on Tuesday Nov. 9. This is a great forum and I have learned so much about the procedure and lifestyle post banding. I am a night nurse and work at South Coast Medical Center in Laguna Beach. That is where I am having my surgery. Dr. Dallahl and Dr. Quebbeman are my surgeons. Thanks to all of you, it seems like one can get never-ending encouragement and support on this site! Nik, Nov. 9 is almost here! Congratulations. I think it's great that you already know not just your doctors but the medical center before you proceed with the band. Let us know how you're doing after the surgery; I'm sure you'll do well.

Quebbeman is a great Dr. He was trained by Dr. Ortiz who is my Dr.
