NYC Sleevers In The Queens Area ?

Recommended Posts

Manhattan here. Sleeved 5/29/15

How are you?

I am doing well so far so good. I am now 4months post op and 83 pounds down. I am still in the trial and error process of figuring out which foods I can sit with me and those that don't. I have a lot of weird cravings now and a lot of my favorite foods I don't have a taste for but its like a learning process. I'm just taking it one day at a time.

How are you ?

I'm from Cambria Heights.... Jamaica, Queens pre-op

Did you have your procedure done yet?
I'm doing well. Had my 6 month post op everything was good. Blood work etc.

Just moved to Queens in August...living in LIC.

Currently in the pre-op phase but scheduled for 1-11-16 at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn.

Where were you sleeved?

I was sleeved at New York Presbyterian in Queens. I am now 4 months post op and I am down 83 pounds. I wish you the best of luck with your procedure and your journey. Happy New Year!

Who was your surgeon? I'm having it done there in a week. Dr. Ricci Gorbea is my surgeon

I'm in Queens, New York. Getting sleeved at NY Presbyterian Queens next Tuesday. 6/26

Hi,

My wife and I are from Flushing. My wife and I are having our procedures done at Cornell-Weill in Manhattan by Dr. Arfaneh.

My wife is having hers done this Friday (very nervous for her) I'm having mine on Feb. 10th. I'm 6' and 252 lbs with a number of health issues

(high blood pressure, back pain, high cholesterol and sleep apnea oh and I'm on the border of diabetes) I'm looking forward to meeting others on this forum that can relate to us. Take care

Jerry

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
