September 3, 201510 yr Has anyone tried the Quest Protein chips? What did you think? I got some and I thought that they were OK. I just like the fact that I can have a few and it satisfies my craving while getting some protein too.
September 3, 201510 yr I tried some before surgery but they were like packing peanuts to me. I just don't do chips anymore.
September 3, 201510 yr I bought them once at a convenience store. They are terrible! They really taste bad, but if you totally cover them in salsa or something else, they might be useful as a means of delivering the salsa to your mouth. I thought they tasted like cardboard and could not finish the small bag.
September 3, 201510 yr I had the BBQ and I think the sour cream and onion ones and they were good. Just had them once though because I was never a chip person but good amount of Protein.
September 3, 201510 yr I tried the BBQ ones and I didn't like them at all.. I love, on the other hand, the quest protein bars
September 3, 201510 yr I haven't tried them because I can't find them for sale anywhere as singles. I don't really like chips, I am not a snacker. However they are used in some of the Quest recipes. I am going to place an order with quest and get some to cook with.
September 4, 201510 yr I have about a bag every other day... Easy protein, delicious. Texture is a little weird at first for some people, but I personally think the Cheddar and Sour Cream ones are FANTASTIC!
September 4, 201510 yr they are expensive and when i tried 2 different flavors , both times i thought the bag they came in tasted better than the chips...If you need chips i'd recommend the edamame chips from trader joes, or the Maya Kaimal chickpea chips, especially the sea salt ones, oh my are they good, and with some fresh salsa, can be good for you as well and fill that snack urge. But chips are also my big weakness, i have developed an addiction to bbq flavored pork rinds. They go amazingly well with hummus.
September 4, 201510 yr I bought some but haven't tried them yet. Wanted to try making some of the recipes from their website with them
September 4, 201510 yr I ordered some to try. I found the ones I tried were ok. They certainly don't taste as good as potato chips, and like potato chips won't "fill you up", but for a quick, convenient way to get in some Protein I thought they were fine. They taste more like a bland pita chip (with flavoring) than a potato chip. You can order individual bags from the Quest website rather than having to order them in bulk if you want to try the different flavors.
September 4, 201510 yr @@Dub I had the sea salt ones with salsa and guac last night, amazing! The biggest thing to keep in mind everyone is of course they won't taste like potato chips, potato chips are terrible for you. The grease and starch are delicious, but these are the best alternatives I've found. In no way are they ruffles or lays, but they get my 21g of protein which is huge and they satisfy my crunch cravings.
