Well tomorrow is the day!

Surgery in the morning! I have to be at the hospital at 6am. I'm so excited... Mom and sis in town and I got my best friend also supporting me... Trying get my last fluids in before midnight.

Ready for this journey! I know it won't be easy but I absolutely believe it will be one of the best of my life....

I am doing well just taking it one day at a time. There are somedays that are harder than others, but I continue the fight. I have not had any trouble tolerating any foods, but I have ate too fast a few times which is a no no. I have not experienced any type of dumping since surgery. Thank God!! It's a learning process and you learn as you go. I have been advanced to a regular diet as of today. I probably will still stick to some of the soft diet foods for another week or so. I had salad for the first time last night and it went really well. I have days where I don't want to eat or drink anything, but I know that I can't do that. So on those days I'll have a Protein shake. Then as the day progresses I'll try some food. I have to say that each week gets better. The most important part for you is remember to stay hydrated.... You do not want to end back in the hospital.
