Throwing up (sorry for the topic)

Recommended Posts

So - I am 3 months post op. So far - I do great with eating. Eating nice and slow and no issues.

Today - for the first time, in over a month I ate lunch - a deconstructed burrito - Beans, chicken and salsa. This is really part 2 of my burrito from two days ago. After eating, all came back up. I mean - really came back up. I have not had any stomach regurgitation like that since I got food poisoning like 2 years ago. I am sure it's because I ate too fast or I had to large of a piece of chicken.

Here is my question. Do I count any of the food in my food journal or just consider it a wash? I am now 3 hours later and enjoying my Protein Shake.

Just wondering your thoughts?

Jenn

Maybe count half of it, you never really know what came back out. Who knows.

Interesting. I'm a little over 8 weeks post-op and still struggle with Mexican food (almost always comes back up). To answer your question though, I would not count it.

I have the same problem with fajitas and I am 4 months post op. I think it's the peppers and onions.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
