I had mine done on Tuesday in Springfield Illinois. I think I'm doing okay so far *knock on wood*

Still sore across my upper belly like a tight belt but nothing Tramadol (spell?) can't handle.

Thought I would check in today.. had my first follow up appointment yesterday- things going well. Healing good. Losing weight.

Yesterday was tricky though since it was out of my normal routine I found it really hard to keep track of my fluids Vitamins and Protein drinks!! Making it priority today. I am feeling blah and not sure what it is. Or maybe I do...

I have 5 kids (2 toddlers and 3 teenagers.) Few days ago our basement flooded (pump broke) ruined the AC circuit board so no AC for like 4 days now...have window AC put in and sheets nailed up over the doorways ways to keep the first floor cool though. AC guy supposed to come today. I cant keep up with the house as I am still sore and cant exactly able to move like used to. Husband been spending his time fixing the pump cleaning up basement back and forth to the stores to get parts...when he was supposed to take over MY job and deal with the kids while im in recovery so I don't have have too much stress to worry about but that has not been happening. We have all been confined to the first floor and im about to pull hair. I'm hoping this gets easier down the road :/

Still no regrets though. :)

Well it's been 9 months almost and I am doing good no complications my hunger has returned but no where near what it used to be. I don't have any major dumping issues so I still have to hold myself accountable what I put in my mouth. Trick is not grazing all day long. Stick with my scheduled eating. I'm now weighing in 145 lbs. I have been slacking on working out as my work outs usually involve being outside and I am in the midwest so ..... self explanatory. I will be picking back up soon I am now out of the overweight range. My ultimate goal was 130 so I'm still aiming for that by end of summer hopefully. Hope everyone is doing well and had a good Easter with your families and friends . :)

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
