I am 5'1 and started at 250 pounds. I lost 21 pounds on the 2 week pre-op diet and since surgery have lost 11.6 pounds in 5 weeks after surgery. I feel like that is a super slow losing streak of 2.3 pounds a week but oh well.

I'm 5'1"! I started at my heaviest weight of 228.5 lbs. I lost 11 pounds over 6 months working with the dietitian and then another 10 pounds on my preop diet. My day of surgery weight (1/20/15) was 207. I had an initial stall for the first few weeks, but as I started eating more solid foods the weight started to fly off. I'm currently 161 pounds and I'm 5 months out. I'm wearing a size 8/10 and feel amazing. I'm averaging about a pound a week, although it is starting to slow down!!! I'm so not complaining though! BEST DECISION I EVER MADE!!! Good luck!!!

I am 5' 0" and I started my journey at 240 lbs and now I am at 203.6 and am 3 months out now. I have been over weight most of my life and I looked like I weighed 300 lbs when I started this process. I was so out of shape it wasn't even funny. I have had a total knee replacement due to my joints because of my weight. I have a lot of arthritis in my joints and was always in pain, but since this WLS, I have a lot less pain and can move quicker then before.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
