today:

b: 2 scoops banana cream whey Protein w/ 8 oz. skim milk

L: 1/4 chicken cesar salad from panera bread with 1/4 cup of broccoli cheese Soup

s: 3 minature resses Peanut Butter cups :cursing:

d: 1 hot dog w/ 1/2 cup chili w/ sprinkler of reduced fat cheese and 1 tsp reduced fat sour cream

But I went for a jog to make up for the resses cups..

I NEED A FILL!!:thumbdown:

l: 1/2 chicken salad sandwich on multigrain

Breakfast ~ 2 Scrambled eggs topped w/ Ketchup

Lunch ~ 3/4 C Ground Beef mixed w/ 1/2 C No Fat Refried Beans & topped w/ 1/4 C Shredded cheese, 2 T Sour Cream

Snack ~ 2 T Skippy Roasted Honey Nut Peanut Butter

Dinner ~ 2oz chicken Breast & 1/4 C Cottage Cheese

B- South Beach Cranberry Almond Cereal bar

L- 3/4c salsa chicken w/ sprinkle of cheese and spoon of sour cream

S- 1oz honey roasted cashews

D- 3/4 slice Papa John's pan pizza & 1/2c spinach salad (baby spinach, cheese, camperi Tomato & 2tbs vidalia onion dressing)

Today

B- coffee, 1 rice cake

S- 6 almonds and they gave me heartburn:cursing:

L- 3 oz yogurt and 5 anytizer boneless wings

S- 2 bite size twix (I'm so stressed)

D- 5 hot wings w/ 2 T spinich dip and some more stress

Stress------predicted IKE, thus bad weather

Stress------granddaughters here and they need to get back to Baton Rouge and it is supposed be bad here. I just hate for my daughter to get on the road in bad weather but school starts Monday.

I know maybe I should be in the "Rants" thread, but.........:omg_smile:

Do I ever need to get back on the plan. I need to lose the last 30 lbs. My awesome recipes crashed with the computer. Anyone know a site for recipes?

b-sf carnation instant breakfast

s-breakfast "muffin" pizza style (turkey italian sausage, onion, turkey pepperoni, pizza sauce, mozarella, egg beater

l- 3 chicken wings

d- yogurt and granola:thumbup:

worked out with the trainer 1 hr

      On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
      Soooo I am coming to a realization
      of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

      Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
