I just got my first fill yesterday and thought it would be so nice to have a menu plan. Does anyone know what is a good meal plan? I'm so afraid that I won't get in all the necessary nutrition, i.e. sufficient Protein, oils, fats, etc. Years ago when I was on the "liquid diet" fad, I began to lose huge wads of hair because of insufficient protein, etc.

Thanks!

Go to the Thread Header "Food & Nutrition" - you will see 2 sticky links to food stages / good protein choices; you should be able to get some ideas there.

For me, I follow a version of "South Beach" meal plan - not exclusively, but closer to that than any other. The book and website have great recipes.< /p>

Hope this helps,

Hey you guys!!! I just had a light bulb moment... I am posting this here cause I am hoping that a moderator will take care of proper placement if I am too off base....with so many of us sabatoging ourselves it seems to me we should be thinking of what's eating up instead of what we are eating....I just found out my thyroid has not been operating for many months and now I am fixing it w/synthroid but while I have not changed what I am eating, I have not lost much since November.....but my brain wants to eat EVERYTHING and that's BAD...I think I will finially give in and get some HEAD help..even though I have lost 141#!!!! food for thought!!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
