Well got the call today letting me know what time to check in tomorrow and 11am it is!! It's a little later than I would've wanted but I'm not going to complain.

I also found out I have no out of pocket cost to be paid before my procedure...it will be covered 100%!! I guess with all my pre op stuff I met my max, which I know I have to pay but I've made arrangements on all those balances and have a nice low monthly payment so I couldn't ask for a better outcome ????

This experience has been so smooth and positive and I have to give all thanks to God. I'm ready for my new beginning and can't wait to see what's in store for me in the future!!

I was supposed to check in at 1045am for a 1215pm surgery. Ended up having my surgery after 9 pm because of an emergency right before mine... Good times.

Best of luck to you and your surgeon and here's hoping for a quick and easy recovery for ya.

Hello everyone I am still in the hospital but I'm going home today. My surgeon said the surgery went very well I'm just having trouble tolerating the pain. It's mostly on the one side where my big incision is all the others are fine. Once my pain goes down a bit I'll be fine because besides that I don't feel any different, makes me wonder if they really did anything in there lol.

Blessings to you all! I've been home most of the day doing well just been sipping as much as I can and walking around my house trying to get this gas moving. I don't have any nausea or any trouble getting fluids down. I don't feel hungry or crave food at all so I have to remind myself to sip otherwise it just slips my mind.

I'm really hoping to move past the pain/gas stage so I can move into the weight loss phase cuz to be honest weight is the furthest thing from my mind. Right now I'm focusing on staying hydrated and eliminating this gas. I'm going to start on my protien shakes in a couple of days hopefully I can tolerate the taste because nothing is tasting good these days.

I sure hope you all's surgeries go well and we can keep all keep in touch ????

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
