Well, I did it.

I finally deleted my OH account. I just couldn't take it anymore. After getting attacked in the middle of a thread last night, I decided that OH just wasn't worth the stress of basically always having to watch my back. I'd thought about doing it before, but decided that I could just avoid the threads with the feuding. But how do you avoid someone popping up in the middle of a random thread and going off on you?

I lurk over there also and I noticed that you deactivated your membership. I spend most of my time here though LOL. I have never posted at OH. I guess I missed most of the drama but I did see the thread where you were attacked and I am so sorry you had to go through that. They are convinced that those two IDs in question are the same person but we, of course, know they are not. I am most definitely glad you are still active here on LBT. Keep on rantin' and ravin'. Hugs to you.

Oh and I forgot to add. Every board needs a forum like this to rant, rave, and debate in. It keeps the drama from bleeding into all the other forums.Don't you agree?

Oh, yeah. I think that's the whole problem with OH. There isn't any place for people to release tension, so they take it out on everyone else. Here at LBT, we know that the drama will stay in RnR. You don't have to keep your eyes peeled for people that don't like you, because just about everyone knows how to keep RnR separate from the support sections.

Yeah, I saw the attack too and I'm thinking, "Where the hell did that come from?" I have been over there for a while too, but the format is easier to understand for me. I guess LBT doesnt have the option to switch the Bump feature. But anyway, it is hard to weed out the nice people from the mean ones. OH is nothing but a bunch of clicks, but I love going there because they do more for me than my nut/surgeon/therapist all put together, minus the fills. But Good Luck in your future.

To be honest, that's exactly what I was thinking when it happened.

Now I have to go over there and read what happened. Will the whole thing be deleted now that you deleted your account? Did you post with the same name? I hardly ever go there because I hate the format.

The only reason I ever go there is because the girl that was banded the same day I was by my doctor goes there. I have to click on my friend's list

(which I only have 3) to read her blog.

I have no idea. I haven't been back to look, mainly because I hate their format, too.

I did post with the same name over there.

I was wondering about the "OH" bit meant too.

I had no idea when I tagged myself with OH Juli. However mine is due to the fact I live in Ohio.

And in American Sign Language, I'm always, signing "OH" instead of "I get it." I work with Deaf folk.

OH Juli

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
