Judi, What's the trouble? Are you tired of the liquid? Did you try it with a little crushed ice? I found that is helping me a lot. :tea: I was also told I could drink Crystal Light in between for flavor. Yum, something other than chocolate. I never thought I'd get so excited about a sugar free drink! :whoo:

For inspiration, there is a thread that has all of the members of this website and how much weight they have lost. Check it out, it's very cool and made me realize that 4 weeks of Optifast is going to be so worth it. Also, get on the scale and see how much you have lost. We aren't suffering for nothing!

I'm right here with you. I'm on day 10 of 28!

OK--I am here to tell you that the heating pad does absolute wonders for the gas pain. This morning, my sore throat is gone (from the breathing tube), gas pain is relieving itself (gas x, Milk Of Mag because I don't think this is a great time to become const. which I am a lot), and tummy is sore. Tummy soreness=not painful like cramps just like what it is cuts and just sore. I have had cramps that have made me cry before and Iam not crying with these so I think it is a doable pain. Like, it is totally going to be worth what we are doing this for =)

Judi--2 days chicka!!

Band--Hang in there! You sound like you are doing very good on the liquids.

How long does everyone have to be on liquids after their surg? Me =2 wks.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water. Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
