My regret... i wish i had done a reduction at the same time (i was a 44H before and im a 34H now). and I wish i had done some lipo on my legs (outer and inner) But my husband didn't want to have this done and only told him two days before surgery because i know he would talk me out of it....

I love my results and would do again....

I used Dra. Laura Carmina Cardenas from Beauty Enhance in Tijuana. The pain was bad. Not gonna lie. She does an incredibly tight muscle repair with her tummy tucks, so it was a while before I could walk without a walker. Then I had a complication where I had swelling in my lower back. My PCP called it a "lipoma"... an area of soft tissue where Fluid was collecting. The incision for my extended tummy tuck is almost circumferential... there is about a 3-4" gap in it above my butt crack. Since all the lymphatic channels are severed during a tummy tuck, that little space was the only area where fluid could move between the upper and lower halves of my body. Then with the fat grafting to the upper part of my butt, I think that may have "blocked" some of the fluid as well. So everything collected at the base of my spine and I had a lot of swelling and pain there for months and months until new lymphatic channels were established.

Now though, that's all a distant memory and I am THRILLED with my results. I'm especially thrilled that they held up through my weight re-gain and re-loss. It's kind of like WLS... it's rough going in the beginning, but the long term results are so worth it!

Edit: It occurred to me that you might have been asking just about the pain of the fat grafting. If there was any specific to the fat grafting, it didn't even register compared to the pain of my muscle repair. General pain and bruising from the lipo, of course, but it was minimal.

Thank you @@bayougirlmrsc, but I assure you my tummy is all wrinkles with a bit of a hanging apron below my belly button. My upper and inner thighs also have some skin as well, but fortunately I have very little fat and a lot of muscle tone; so, I have already been told that I am a perfect candidate for the spiral thigh lift. My breast do not exist. My 12 year old daughter and I can share sports bras. Literally. In fact, we do share them. Ugh. So I am ready to look a little more accentuated in that area.

Ha! That was so me after I lost my initial weight if you look back at those August, 2011 photos I posted. That padded bra is the only thing saving me at that point! Now that I have my implants, I can't imagine that I ever lived without them. I see old pics of myself (I have some nude pre-op pics as well) and I want to cry that my breasts were ever that pathetic!

I exercised 5 days a week and thank God my skin went back for the most part in most places.... she didn't and has more skin.

I had my surgery 3.5 years ago, so prices may have changed somewhat since then, but I had all my work done, plus a two week stay in the Beauty Care Recovery House (24/7 nurses and all meals prepared) for about $10,500.

Thanks for sharing! Your befores look a lot like I look now... Not much subcutaneous fat left just wrinkly skin. Your bra size is similar too and I don't think I want implants either (though my husband is thinking otherwise...) so it's nice to see what happens without them!

I remember my boobs were only skin and nipples. Yuck!

I love them now.

Only a artistic surgeon could work with the tiny breast tissue I had left, and make them beautiful and symetrical without implants.

All of the other plastic surgeons told me I HAD to have implants.

I really love my boobs now!

Thank you for sharing your pictures. Everytime I think I'm OK with my body the way it is, I see how much better it can look and I think all over again that I should go for it. I just hate the idea of more surgery. Maybe in time I'll want it more than dreading how it has to be done.

You are wise to be sensible about it. I had a LOT of it, and I do look a lot better, but had some complications I'm still dealing with. And I'm far from perfect all over. I looked pretty good in clothes before, and I usually wear clothes, so I was pretty good to go.

One of the plastic surgeons came to our WLS support group meeting and talked about how any candidate for plastic surgery has to have mental fortitude. I think that's the understatement of the year. It's not for the faint of heart. I'm not sorry I did it, but I had to deal with open wounds that I think would have sent me into a panic if I weren't a nurse. It's been 8 months, two surgeries, and I'm just starting to get my energy back. And I'm looking at more surgeries to finish it up. So, thousands of dollars and probably a year and half by the time it's all done, potential long term issues with swelling and numbness......it's a lot to think about.

I don't mean to be negative about it, but just pointing out it's a much bigger undertaking than meets the eye.

Has anyone gone for the panniculectomy alone? I just had a hysterectomy, and I just don't think I can deal with surgery again. Just wondering...
