Ok so I'm one week post op and I'm a little confused on how much protein I'm supposed to be getting in at a time

Thank you so much for all the advice, I'll be shopping tomorrow. Getting a little emotional about everything but I know in the end it's the best choice and I won't regret it.

My surgery is scheduled for July 8th just a few more days yeah!!!! I'm planning on shopping this weekend for my first two weeks, any suggestions on protein and broths or soups for the first two weeks?

I just got my answer if our previous conversation. If I don't hear from anyone next week then I'll give them a call. My case manager called me of Friday and said they were sending the final ok to my doc so hopefully they did.

Hello there, yes I met with Dr. Turner and everything went great, they should be sending me referral to the surgeons, now I have to wait for them to contact me, how long did you wait? Wow less then a week away I bet your so excited!!!!

The called me on Wednesday and I scheduled my psych evalv and last appt with Dr. Turner for the 27th, that happened pretty quickly. After those appts how long did it take to hear from the surgeons office?

Just finished my last options class, am curious how long after the classes did you have surgery?

I'm in Rancho Cucamonga and we didn't have to have that, just lots of blood work, EKG, chest x-ray, stool test, psych evaluation, and 12 weeks of options classes

Anything for gas?

I have to do my classes on Mondays, I believe the next class that starts on a Monday is March 2nd, so excited

I'm also starting this journey, I'm waiting for a Options class to start that fits my schedule, it won't be until March, I was so anxious at first, trying to do all I could as fast as I could then BAM no class until March, seems sooooo far away. I wish you all the best, can't wait to get this process going.
