I'm in!!

Starting will be 185.4--- goal will be 179

I'm about 2 years and 2 mo out from being sleeved and in the past several months have actually gone up about 25 from my lowest....

my excuses-starting a new stressful job, trying to get pregnant and taking hormones, planning to move to a new home in several months, mother in law coming to live with us in a few months, and starting a doctorate program---

Thank you

Thanks so much for taking over stephh!! Didn't realize how motivating these would be. I'm a slow loser, which can be discouraging, but checking out the spreadsheet sometimes really helps. Didn't make my goal with the last one, but realized I still lost 9 pounds, which is awesome!

I'm in and will give a goal with my first weigh in.

This sounds like fun! My first time also.

My goal weight for the last check-in is 242.

Will I be able to add my name to the spreadsheet or do you do that? I've never done this before or even used a spreadsheet, I clicked on it, but I couldn't type anything in the square.

Yay for your first challenge! It's my first time hosting one =)

I will add your name and goal to the spreadsheet, and then update it each week.

Thanks!

Count me in - I'm going to shoot for a 230lb goal. I've been falling off the wagon recently and really need to get my butt in gear! I'm almost 5 months out & ready to get closer to my ultimate goal of HEALTHY!

Thanks for taking over Stephh - and thanks to Susan for all of the work you've put into these challenges!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
