Hi!

Has anyone else stalled for 3 months? I hit 250 and have been bouncing around here since February. PSW was 368, SW was 338 and I am now 250. The first 80 came off quickly and effortlessly and am wondering if my body is adjusting and I need to give it a kick start?

Looking for tips, suggestions and of course, I need to start keeping a food journal again...

Thanks all!

C

My suggestions are to exercise every day. Walk, then walk faster and longer. Also, log your food, I do this every day, even when I am not doing so great. It helps me realize the cause for my successes and failures. It really makes a difference! Please don't give up, it's a marathon not a sprint!

Absolutely log your food. It keeps you accountable to yourself. It is amazing how fast one can get off track even after a week of not logging.

Also have you tried the 5 day pouch test? Google it, lots of folks that have been stuck that long are able to get kick started using this test. It basically puts you through the food stages and your body starts kicking into to weight loss mode again. If I ever get a stall that lasts as long as yours I plan to use that to pouch test to get me started again.

Good luck to you!

Sounds like a mental block. I got that way at each milestone weight. 275-250-225. Not a three month stop but long enough for me to say need to keep going. I'm not stopping here.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
