Jumping the Gun or so to speak. ..

Question for all you post ops out there. . What happens if you eat pureed food before your 2 weeks post op? I'm asking cause I'm straving! And all this liquid just isn't cutting it anymore.

Follow your doctor's orders!!! Your insides are still healing so you don't want to aggravate the stitches or the stitch line. It's really hard and frustrating but you will be glad you waited!!

Hurt as in pain? I don't know--probably not. Hurt as in damage? Maybe?

The one thing to know is to not rush it. As frustrating as it seems, you will actually miss these early phases because this is where the weight is really coming off. Take advantage of that!! Seriously. Try to enjoy each phase to the fullest.

@@esskay77 I just don't want to pop something and have to be rushed in for emergency surgery or something. I think I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow and ask them if I can go a couple days earlier.
