  2. @@esskay77 I just don't want to pop something and have to be rushed in for emergency surgery or something. I think I'm going to call the doctor tomorrow and ask them if I can go a couple days earlier.
  3. @@MamaTo3inNH I am cleared for full liquids right now ie yogurt, pudding, popsicles, broth, strained cream soups, etc.
  4. @esskay77.. I'm do to switch in 4 days will it really hurt? That's what I want to know.
  5. @@hstrayorn I feel your pain. I'm crying just thinking about food. At first it was easy.. now I wonder what kind of stupid move did I make doing this! You have a night left before pureed food. And I hope that makes it easier. I just keep trying to picture all of the activities I'll be able to do that I couldn't before. Keep pushing!
  6. Question for all you post ops out there. . What happens if you eat pureed food before your 2 weeks post op? I'm asking cause I'm straving! And all this liquid just isn't cutting it anymore.
  7. For people who need sugar free but want something sweet - try the mio water enhancers. They are super yummy and are sugar free without all the yucky side effects.
  8. @@Djmohr thank you! I'm sorry worried about getting sick that I've been sipping slowly.. very slowly. Throwing up is one thing I hate doing so I always try and prevent it. Going to try the water bottle idea. The hospital gave me little medicine cups and told me to use those. :-)

  10. Hey all. A little help. I am day 3 post op had my surgery on 3.12.15 and I'm EXTREMELY thirsty! I just want to pour the water down my throat. How do I know when to stop!?
  11. @@Crosby and @@FinallyFit50s thank you! I'm looking forward to begin my new life! The pain has gotten better now that I've learned my limits and the best time to take my meds for me.
  12. I fooled myself. I didn't think the pain would be this bad. Anyone else do this? The pain isn't so much a sharp pain. It feels like I'm bruised inside. Which I guess I am. Any suggestions on how to cope? Besides pain meds. I don't want to rely on those completely. Does it get better each day?
