Lifesaver~ I think you should still have 2 free coaching sessions even if you got it from 24 hour fitness. I would ask your trainer (the one who set it up for you).

Also, my Coach told me NEVER to switch arms - the bugg has some sort of device in it that can tell in what position your arm is in. She said it knows if you are sitting, standing, riding a bike or walking on your hands. She said when people switch arms, it has to be upside down to work on the left arm - and if it is upside down, it thinks you are walking on your hands!

However, she said if your arm gets irritated, you can move it up high or low, it doesn't have to be in the exact same spot each day.

were can I get a smaller armband from?

Did you get 2 straps in your box? I have a large strap and a medium size strap. You can buy a medium size strap from the myapex site. They don't have a size small.

Just a quick question.....I thought my trainer told me it was ok to put the bugg on my left arm as long as the button remained on the upper portion. My right arm does get really irritated after a while. Basically to the point where I want to take the thing off. Has anyone tried it on their left arm?

Its good to know we can do that (switch arms) - I am pretty sure Coach Tamala said it would skew the results. I have another coaching session next week, I will ask her again.

I found mine brand new - unopened with the digital display for $240 off of Craigslist. I only searched for 1 day when I found it.

You can wear it on the left arm as long as it is upside down. It states this on the bodybugg website.

Hey guys, I just finished my last coaching session with Coach Tamala. Kinda sad about that - I guess I will have to break down and buy some sessions when I get to a plateau.

However, I wanted to share with you what she said - It WILL skew the results if you wear it on the left arm. She is going to post the reasons on here soon. She explained them to me - something about if you wear on it on the left arm right side up, it will reverse body temp with air temp. If you wear it upside down, it believes you are walking on your hands.

She did mention if you have a digital display - it will help even out the results, but that they still will be skewed.

Hopefully she will post a more eloquent explanation on here soon.

I'll be watching for her!

In case anyone is interested, the lithium batteries really do last a LOT longer than other batteries in the BB, so even though they cost more, they're worth it.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞

I may have to have gall bladder surgery during my weight loss surgery. Not thrilled about it either but do not want 2 recovery times. Just want it over with.

Thanks for your post. I may need to rethink my decision... :(
