I don't have before/after pics but I've lost 67.2 lbs since surgery on Dec 17th. (And a total of 136.2 since Oct 1st!)

I will probably wait until I'm 100 lbs down from surgery to take after pics. Since I have so much to lose, even though the numbers are big the loss is not that visually noticeable yet.

Well the higher the start weight the faster it falls off. I had a LOT to get rid of and still do haha You'LL be surprised how fast the time goes!

Quick question. What kind of exercise are you doing? I'm still mostly doing walking and some strength exercises but haven't really gotten back to the gym more than once or twice a week (I was going 5-6 times / week before surgery!). My progress is similar to yours (my surgery was 2 weeks after you) but I have 100 lbs more than you to lose. I am just curious if I should really be stepping it up and getting back to Water aerobics. It's just been a pretty brutal winter with a sinus infection that lasted several weeks and then lots of snow. The past two weeks have been warm, but I'm still in my old routine! I have a plan to amp it up, but am just curious what others are doing!

To be honest with you, I'm in ny and the cold and snow has kept me in. I don't do much of anything as far as exercise, even with my gym membership. Have to start going again. It's getting nice so no more excuses! I've always hated working out... I'm ashamed of that but it's the honest truth. Its hard for me to motivate to work out.

You and me are in the same boat then. I actually enjoy myself when I get into a regular routine. It's getting INTO that routine that's the hard part. Especially when you're so busy! I've got jury duty tomorrow and I'm hoping to get dismissed early and hit the pool for Water aerobics in the afternoon. I just need one good week to get me settled into a routine.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
