I am three days away from my surgery and I am excited and nervous too. I am hoping to connect with people starting their journey like me, and those who can offer advice from experience. I've never been much for support groups, but this looks like a great place to learn and help each other on this important new stage of our lives.
I am on Long Island, in NY. I am 42, a high school English teacher, and the mother of an amazing 15 year old daughter.
