DO NOT JOIN THE Facebook GROUP!!

The person running it is FAR from supportive of everyone's journey she just banned two people from the group over a joke that she took way to far even though the people involved saw no issues.

You can not have your own journey in there its her way or your banned.

Everyone's journey is different, has different requirements, and different opinions that should be supported as a group and no one needs to feel singled out because of it.

The vibe changed drastically over a period of one night. I doubt it will be the same it was again.

What's the point in banning people for sticking up for others or because they have a different journey than you?!

We are all into this TOGETHER!!

Oh lord. Please start your own group. I'm sure you will be excellent at it. Lol. If anyone wants to join we have four new additional admins to soften my tyrannical rule .

I'm not even going to respond to this insane rant but we are still accepting members and have about 43 people currently (about two more joined after the above person left) Everyone is very friendly and you are welcome to join us. Thanks everyone.

I didn't leave, I was banned for sticking up for someone and then blocked. I had no plans to leave but im not about subjecting people to what happened. I am about supporting everyone for who they are and what their personal journey is. I am sorry you can not do that too. It saddens me that you have to act like you did to feel better about yourself. No one deserves to be scrutinized or publicly attacked no one! I never left you banned me for having my opinion on how it was poorly handled! Three active members left because of your lack of being able to support everyone. Just because you have 43 members doesn't mean anything. Only maybe 10-15 are active and 3 of the best were banned and blocked from no ones choice but your own.

No one deserves to feel like how you made people feel during this stressful and important time in their life. I am sure you deleted everything but I saved every bit of it so keep on I am going to people who won't treat people like you do/did.

It is by far from a rant but a warning for people who want a supportive group no matter what they choose is important for them and their journey you should love everyone for who they are not only the ones who agree with how you view things.

(FYI you still responded to the "rant")

People were kicked for criticizing other's food choices and it wasn't just that one time. That's a rule in our group. I'm unfollowing this thread now but I hope you guys are able to support each other with people who don't mind having boundaries crossed. If that's the kind of support you are looking for you are correct in seeking it elsewhere. Good luck on your journey to health.

No one was criticizing anyone and that's the biggest problem here. Both parties were completely fine with the comment as it was a joke to help lighten the stress and tension that you get from pre-op liquid diet phase. No boundaries were pushed by anyone but you and you fail to see what you did wrong and what you could have done to make it right instead you made others feel horrible, and banned people saying they left when they did not. You making people feel ganged up on, scrutinized, attacked, and horrible is absolutely not the support I am looking for. You are right on that one!

I sure didn't do anything but stand up for someone who you publicly attacked.

Good Morning …and Thank you for the little chuckle. I have got to learn to be computer literate…I missed the whole debacle between FB and BP. Yes, it is a very stressful time but thats the beauty/saving grace of all this.

No one here regardless of their comments …edgy or soft wishes anyone ill. That I feel to be true.

Why waist energy on having hurt feeling when... whether you like it or not we are the "BARIATRIC PALS!"

Plus if I am to get upset I will never get….. 64OZ of FRIGG'IN Water DOWN…is this every day for the rest of my life ?

Or just the first few months. Now this is some thing to get emotional about.

Good Morning... ;)

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
