Question for "well-endowed" ladies...

Recommended Posts

Hi all! I'm 3 days post-op and hanging in there. Now, I know that I can expect a massive deflation of "the girls", but I'd love to know your experiences. How many band and cup sizes did you lose, and how quickly?

I generally have to buy pricey bras (I'm a 38 J cup) and my favorite online bra shop is having a sale, so im thinking of getting a few bras to help out as I lose. Thanks in advance!

Oh my, I'm only a D cup. I'm still a D cup. My band went from a 42 to a 34. Anyway that is how it worked out for me. And just heads up. I had my Mammogram and they found a change ( expected after the girl's are deflated) This seems to be common with rapid weight loss. Just glad it was not cancer.

I went from a 38-40 DD to a 34 C/D

Sleeve 4/21/14, SW 231 CW 144

The one thing I miss after losing weight is my full and shapely boobs...they are pretty deflated and I have to wear a padded bra for the first time in my life....I even have had friends (yes, more than one!) exclaim " what the hell happened to your boobs!?"

Granted, I am in my mid 40's so I guess it's normal, but I do miss my girls!

That said, I would change my size 4/6 butt for anything!

I went from 44 GG (as in GoodGolly!) to a 36 or 38 DDD or G depending on cup type/style and bra brand. I still have big girls and I have tried on tons of bras. My advice is to buy one or two bras at most because you will change so rapidly in the first 6-8 months post op. Don't make a big investment until you're done losing your weight. I used to spend a fortune on bras and now I often find them at Marshalls, TJMAXX and Nordstom Rack.

I'm only two months post op and I've gone from a 40H (I only reached that size this past year) back to my normal 38G. Anytime you lose weight, the girls are the first to go. If you're thinking of buying bras, I would definitely consider a size down.

I lost a lot in band but nothing in the cup. Went from 44DD to 38G presently, although I could get into a 36 now, I just think it would be difficult to find the correct cup size. Although, my little sister lost a lot of weight (no wls) and went from a 38DD to a 36c.

Hi,

I just posted a thread (Victoria's Secret) regarding my new size. I went from a 42/44DD to a 34DDD/36DD. It is SUCH a great feeling. Yes the girls have deflated a bit, but the Demi bra is amazing at perking them right back up.

I went from a tight 38DD at 237 to a 36DDD at 153 and then I had a breast augment and lift, where I ended as a 34DDD which is where I am now at 130. I thought I would lose a ton of the girls, but in reality I lost the fat in them, but the skin was still more than enough to fill up my regular bra. I also buy expensive bras and I literally bought one new one during the time I was losing weight and the old ones fit just fine until I had plastics.

Good luck with your recovery!

I went from a 42 or 44G ish (I probably wasn't wearing the right size) to a 32DD. Dropped about a band size and half a cup size per month.

I think it varies by person. I'm 90 lbs down, but only dropped from 44D to 40DD. If I'm not mistaken, cup size is relative to band size.. ie A is 1 inch bigger than band, B is 2 inches bigger than band, C is 3 inches bigger than band, etc. The cup on a 34D is smaller than the cup on a 44D. There is no guarantee you will loose all your boobies, maybe a little, but certainly that band size will shrink! I would just buy 1 or 2 bras as you need them. I know Catherine's and Lane Bryant will do bra fittings if you have one near by. I went through about 10 bras at LB the other day just trying to figure out what size I am lol...should have just had then fit me!

Went from a 42DDD to a 36DD in 8 months. Now I just roll them up and stuff them in bra! Lol can't wait for plastics this Spring.

I was going to suggest not investing in expensive bras since you will likely change size frequently and there's no way to predict what size you will end up wearing. I'm pretty sure I'm wearing the wrong size now, but I keep procrastinating getting a professional fitting. In the meantime I keep buying cheap temporary ones at Target!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
