One week till surgery

I was terrified, so badly that my bp was so high they weren't sure they would be able to do surgery that day lol I was completely stressing myself out and just knew I was going to die. Now I just laugh at how I made it so much harder than it had to be

The feelings you are having are completely normal. I honestly didn't have any problem with pain. Only issue was that I sleep on my stomach normally, and couldn't for the first week after. Definitely a small price to pay for all that the surgery has given me. I am not quite 3 months out yet, and other than eating less ( & losing weight obviously) , I can't tell I even had the surgery. All that fear for nothing Best wishes to you all

Hi all,

My surgery is feb 19th, and I am currently going through all those stages of nerves and excitement and more nerves and dreams of the op etc

It is really reassuring to know that the feelings are normal.

I'm doing alot better I haven't had any Protein Shakes I tried but I can't tolerate it. My taste buds changed allot. The only things I eat are the sugar free icys the sugar free ice cream Soup Water diet Snapple cheese thats about it
