  2. I have not had hair loss, I started taking biotin before my surgery and continued after. It was not on my list the Dr gave me but it dissolves under my tongue so I sneaked it. I must say my skin and nails look great.
  3. My scale is stuck. People that know about my surgery say I look like I am losing but the scale does not agree!! Sleeved 1/27 total lost 31lb. Help I'm freaking out, shouldn't this be going faster??

  6. Well on the plus side I went to my family Dr today and my blood pressure was "perfect". Much better than getting a look from nurses like " how are you alive?" Lol

  8. I had my surgery on 1/27 and I have told my husband, kids, because they are old enough to know but sworn to not talk about it, and my two best friends. I have to tell the third but it's cold here in MI and no one is getting out to much. It is your journey, do what you feel best. It is nice not to have people sizing me up and asking questions. If I loose a large amount of weight I'll tell my story but until then..,, shhhh.
  9. I had my sleeve 1/27. I am concerned with my slow weight loss. I have lost 24lbs but I have been stuck for weeks. I am taking all suggestions, I track my food on myplate.com I am averaging between 600-800 calories a day and 60-80 grams of protien and under 70 carbs.
  10. I am 6 weeks out and have a st Patricks day celebration this coming weekend. I just dined out for the first time this weekend, I just never know how things are going to effect me. So tonight at home I tried a shot of vodka on ice, it hit my stomach like a brick. I do drink crystal light but I get heart burn from citrus things. I am a usual beer drinker which I know is out of the question, I never thought I would have a hard time drinking! Help this is the worst part of the procedure.

  12. I bought a ton of the Premier protein shakes in vanilla thinking I could use them with jello, pudding, etc. no luck they did not mix well. I hate to wast them but they taste lime crap alone, today I poured on in a large glass and added a cup of coffee.... Awesome! As close to Starbucks as I'll ever get again.
  13. I had mine 1/27 to, how are you feeling? Weight loss?

  15. I had surgery 1/27, how is everyone doing? Just looking to see how others at about my time are doing, loosing, any tips of things that work well??
  16. Ok thanks Jamie, I don't know what to expect. My thyroid was "boarder line low" at my pre surgery blood test so I am probably over thinking due to that little nugget on my head. I will stay the course.
  17. I do think I am loosing, not a lot but my seat belt feels looser. I have worn mostly yoga pants for the winter so hard to tell if those are looser or just not stretched out as much. Lol
  18. I had a sleeve on 1/27 and I have lost 17lbs. SW 280 weight day of surgery 275, CW 263. The scale toggles between 260 and 263. I am concerned because it seems I should be loosing faster? Am I crazy, on track or in need of help?!?
