Funny, I was just looking for a"before" pic, as surgery is next Monday. I found 5,632 pictures of my husband, kids, family, scenery... you name it, but none of my entire self. I take face shots, but not one of my body! Goes to show how much I truly despise my visual image! I will attempt a full-body selfie on Christmas day! =)

I weighed daily since day of surgery, but really track weekly. I took a picture monthly during weight loss, and now I take one every few months. I've continued to shrink even though I've been in maintenance for a while. I've had a couple of plastic procedures done, so I'm continuing to take pictures through that, too. Since I tracked my loss on a spread sheet, I love to look back over that and my pictures to see how far I've come. Funny, but it's still not old to me!

I took my first photo a few days before my first appointment. The next one I took was last week for my one year. I wish now that I had done it every month. I weigh myself almost every day, although many others don't. If I don't track, I lose track.

I weigh myself monthly. I didn't really take any pictures before surgery so I just pulled up a recent pre-surgery picture that was a good example of what I looked like. I took pictures after my 3 mth follow up because honestly I thought I looked pretty good. I then found a picture that I took on the day I left the hospital and when I put them side by side I was surprised at the difference. I needed that picture because even though the scale says I'm losing, I couldn't see the difference. It was nice to notice I had lost a chin!

I became obese after pregnancy and then extremely obese after a traumatic experience five years ago. I refused to have my picture taken and don't hav any pictures of myself from that whole time period (except my hideous license picture). Part of me is glad I didn't because I want to perceive it as a bad dream. Realistically, I missed out on having a picture with my son when he was a baby or young child. I guess I was being selfish. I plan on participating in a family picture once I hit onederland.

I only get weighed at my post op bariatric appointments and GP appointments. I own a scale, but don't use it right now. The scale still makes me anxious and afraid, even though I'm staying on track and following all guidelines. It's a mental thing. I'll eventually get past it.

I weigh once a week...every Monday morning at the exact same time :) As I'm going through weight loss, I take a picture every 10lbs lost. It's really amazing the difference 10lbs makes! Oh, and if I'm feeling particularly cute that day, I'll snap a pic ;)

The first few months I only weighed at the doctor's office. (Like 5 and 11 days out, 6 weeks, 10 weeks then around 3 months). Since then I've weighed weekly on the dog scale at work....fully clothed, with boots and usually in the afternoon. I don't own a scale, so I really have no idea what my actual "naked, first thing in the morning after I pee" weight is.

My sister made me take before during and after pics to send to her. Probably one every couple months. Glad she did....it's been a great motivator to look back at how huge I really was!

I take pictures daily and I have even been getting a new drivers license pic each month. The fit bit scale helps keep track of everything.

Waiting on the passport photo. I want to be about 15 lbs thinner before my pass port photo.

I weigh daily, but track my weight once a week. I take body measurements every 2 weeks if I remember. It usually ends up being every 3 weeks or so. I take photos once a month. Well I should say my hubby takes photos of me every month. It is great to see how much my body changes in a short period of time, especially, when I am stuck in a stall for weeks!

I weigh daily and log it, this is per my doc. Usually I would just do it weekly.

We took before shots the Sunday before my Monday surgery on 10/27. We take front, side and back shots is the same clothes (skin tight tshirt and shorts) and the same ones in my bra and undies once a month in the exact same spot. I also take my measurements every month.

Even being just 8 1/2 weeks post op it is fun to look back and see the difference!!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
