I'm almost 2 months out and this is my second week of actually going to the gym. I pick times right after work or class because once I'm home I won't leave. Although I do take a 9:30am zumba class and quite honestly idk how I'm getting up for up!

Just think of how much better you'll feel after. And if that doesn't work.

GET YOUR ASS UP AND GO WALK

=)

Do you not have a job?

We can't make you get in the shower, brush your teeth, put some clothes on, and respect yourself.

The longer you don't care for yourself, the less likely you are to return to a healthy lifestyle.

Your choice.

Hang in there. You made it this far. Tomorrow is a brand new day. Try and get a good night's sleep and start fresh in the morning!

Okay you stayed in today. You are allowed a day off. However today was your day. So pick out your clothes for tomorrow and set your alarm. You've come too far to mess up now.

Yes, today is a new day. I'm going to make it a better day. I will shower and dress and put my headphones in and pound the pavement. No, I do not work, I have MS and some other issues. Thanks guys. I wish I had a walking buddy.

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

Anyone had the TORe procedure? How did it go? How much weight did you loose?

Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

      2. LadyVeteran1

Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

Your so close now! It's gonna be great :) Wishing you a speedy recovery and looking forward to seeing how it goes!

Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
