I was submitted for final insurance approval on 11/12/2014. My surgeon says my surgery will be before the end of the year. I fully expect a December surgery date. I am guessing the second week of December.

I'm thankful that I finished all of my steps and that I received my insurance approval and my surgery date before the end of the year, because we just had open enrollment at work and come to find that they are dropping bariatric surgery from their coverage! I cannot believe how close I cut that!
