I don't see why not. If we're able to have regular yogurt why not the frozen kind, right?

I'd say yes. Whether your dr. would or not... I don't know. Personally, I wouldn't ask! (and didn't!)

I would vote neither. Just because it says yogurt doesn't mean its a healthy food choice. Its is still full of fats and sugars and "empty calories".

I was told the way to judge is the texture at room temp. Like Jello is a liquid so are popsicles. ~Mandy

That was not the question. I notice in your signature that you say you are not the food police for anyone but yourself. Are you sure?

Your correct, my apologies. I will be quiet. ;)

Don't be quiet....we value your words and your opinion; you are a great inspiration to most of us here!!!!

Really, my response to the question is that if you have to ask, it probably isn't what you would like it to be!!! (ie. not a full fluid)!

IMHO!

I would say frozen yogurt is a good option especially if its the lowfat version. Its also a source of Calcium which (according to the TV commercials) helps with losing weight. We picked up some low fat low calorie yogurt bars from costco which I love (unusual for me since I am not a fan of yogurt, particularly after the pre-op diet.)

hehe, Yoda, that's why I never asked!

There are some really good 'frozen desserts' out there. I am in love with Breyer Smart Scoop. You should try it. I've got some 'Fat Free' double churned, chocolate something or other in my freezer right now. 100 cals for half a cup?! Sounds good to me!

Chapman's, that's the kind I was gonna say to pass on, not as good as the Breyer's!! ;)

There is a Cultures restaurant right near my office that sells LOW FAT frozen yougurt. I think this could be an option as a "treat".

....I'm not saying it isn't a good option...it DEFINITELY is & god knows I've had my share of that AND icecream)!!! All I'm saying is that I don't think I would push it and use it as an option during the "full fluid" stage. Mushie and beyond....absolutely!!!

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
