Well I was a week post op on Monday and got a rash under my boobs! I had the Nurse Practitioner document it and she gave me a prescription for powder Nystatin. The dreaded boob yeast rash!!!

She said they have a great success rate with documenting and getting insurance to cover Excess skin removal for breasts and tummys. She said they don't normally get insurance to cover arms, but if my bat wings bother me years down the road I will save up lol

I think I'm going to have my doctor start documenting my inner thigh chafing immediately (have an appointment on the 24th) in the hopes of maybe getting my insurance to cover a thigh lift down the road. Chances are slim, but I might as well try, right?

My grandma always says "can't was killed at the battle of try." May as well get it documented each time. I get boob rashes all the time. I had huge boobs in high school and am now a DDD. I would rather be a C cup and have an internal bra done so if I do decide to forgo a bra someday I can

I am the queen of boob rash, sadly I am the carrier of the dreaded yeast bacteria. I have several documents of breakouts while on this journey. I have to eat yogurt daily and use nystatin powder likes its my best friend. I am hoping next year after I hit my overall goal I can get the surgery to get rid of the baggy skin so it will help with not having the breakouts. But overall, even with that surgery I will most likely get yeast infections even still. Damn genetics!

I haven't even had my surgery yet and my boob and stomach rash are super bad. I'm hoping I'll be able to get the insurance to cover them

Is that what the breast rash is from, a yeast infection?? I thought it was just dry skin. I have a post-op appointment tomorrow, should I show the doctor?? I have gotten them several times, too!!! Please help - sometimes it itches pretty badly!!!

Show the doctor he will prescribe either a lotrimin or a rash powder with the same ingredient. Try the otc jock itch meds or the monistat while waitIng

is the rash skin breakdown from moisture or is it a dry itchy rash? I have not heard it being from yeast b4.

Mines from moisture. I sweat like a whore in church since my hysterectomy. Right now it's 23° outside and I just told hubby to turn the heat down cause I was sweating with just a sheet on. It's in the stomach folds as well. But on my back, arms neck it eczema and dry skin. I also have been getting hives so benadryl is my bff too.

you should try and lay in observing cloth in between your folds this will observe the moisture and pulled away from your skin.. Hot flashes are evil, I've had a complete hysterectomy myself and am still having about 6 to 10 hot flashes a day.. That's a trick I picked up throughout the years.. I hope it helps, warm hugs new friend, Stacey-

This is gonna sound crazy, but I have been dealing with yeast issues for a while now. One thing that I use to try and help control it a little is deoderant! It helps some, but it doesn't keep it away for good. I've still had breakouts, but far less painful for sure. I'm hoping once I have this surgery, that I will get my insurance to cover my plastics due to the fact I have severe issues with yeast problems already even though I shower daily and take procautionary measures :/. A girl can dream right?!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
