I did it! Finally hit the elusive 150 lbs! In every diet program I have ever attempted, they asked that I pick a goal weight and I always threw out "150 lbs". I have never, not once, actually made it. The lowest I got was 180 after 3 months of HCG (which, of course, I gained right back)

But after the sleeve...in 5 months I have lost 81 pounds and finally saw that 150 number!

I am thinking I might try to lose 5-10 more lbs just to get solidly in a "normal" BMI...but if I don't, I am okay with my size 8 jeans, size medium shirts and *150 POUNDS*!!!!

That is so awesome! Congratulations! And 81 pounds in 5 months is fantastic!

We are so similar. I am 5'6" and I have been on SOOOO MANY diets where I have set my goal at 155. The closest I ever came was about 176, but then I gained back up to 260 ultimately. I cannot wait to be where you are in a few months. You must feel AMAZING!

My goal is 150 too. I'm 358 right now but I just got sleeved on the 16th. I just turned 38 so my goal is to be 40 and fit. I'm so doing this!

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!

Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.
