My shakes are going down well and I am excited to have this be my last week of fluids. I am down 9 lbs for my first week, and that brings my total weight loss to 51 lbs! that is so exciting!!!!

Sleeved Sept 15,2014 lost about 10lbs so far, no pre-opt diet needed , I had kind of an emergency situation and no time for it, I had existing lap band surgery in 07 that was causing many problems and had to be removed asap so they removed it and did a revision to the sleeve. I'm starting to get hungry for real food so I ate some cheese BIG MISTAKE! Extreme Dumping syndrome! I'm afraid to leave my house! I have not had any pain medicine since I have been home bc it makes me sick. I'm still in a great deal of pain but am healing.I go back to work on Monday and I'm worried.

Just under two weeks after surgery. No real issues at the moment (injecting myself with Clexane each morning sucks but tomorrow is the last day of that).

Be moving to puree in the next few days (yay!) the liquid phase has been OK, just a bit boring. I'm pretty sure I haven't been getting enough protien as I can't stomach (heh!) Protein Shakes or powders but I'll be getting plenty of meat and legumes soon so I'm not too worried.

So far I've dropped 20kg (about 44lbs) since my first appointment with the surgeon.

Hi all, I'm 3 days post op for my sleeve. Still on liquid diet and having a tremendous amount of pain. I had a hiatal hernia repaired also which contributes to my pain.

I'm from MI and an in my 40's with the kids.

I had my sleeve 9-18-2014. Start weight 362 lbs, today 341 lbs. I am so weak and miserable.

How are you feeling now? It does get better a little each day.

Hi Jen, I had the same operation, i know how you feel I had the same operation. Best thing I can suggest is keep up the pain medication. I am 11 days out now and feel a million times better. Tried a hero day the other day where I had no pain relief made my pain so much worse. Walking is good gets the blood flowing and heat packs. Thinking of you.

Today, no pain, still weak, now irregular heart rate. I am trying to decide if I should call the on call physician.

If you are concerned then that's a yes! Call ASAP

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
