Breast downsizing

Recommended Posts

I am a DDD and have always had bigger boobs...I'm wondering how much other ladies have lost in this area?

I'm going to have a lift someday, probably after having kids, but I would just love to buy a bra that isn't a huge old grandma bra. If I remember right I was a D in high school already...ugh the horrors of running in PE class...and then as I gained weight they just kept growing...

My sisters teased me that it's because we used to do the "we must we must we must increase our bust" exercises HAHAHA

Hi, I had breast reduction (which comes with a lift) about 14 years ago. They are still perky. I've lost 60 lbs in the last 6 months and I've lost some in my breasts but not a whole lot. I am a comfortable C. Lose your weight and then have the surgery, you will love it. It's awesome. As surgeries go breast reduction is fairly easy. I took off work a week.

I was a 44DDD before surgery. I've lost 110 so far, need to lose 40-60 more. Now I'm a 38DDD. Even though the cup size says the same, the cups get smaller as the band gets smaller. Although they are long and wrinkly, in the right bra (formed cups and underwire) the volume is still there. I can't wear the plunging bras snore as my boobs just fall right out! My daily wear bras were cotton, unlined, underwire. Can't wear those anymore as they just don't hold them up high enough and look too droopy. Only thing I'm still buying from Lane Bryant, bras.

I hate having to wear a bra with some shirts...so getting a lift at some point. My sister had 2 kids and just got implants and a lift...they are amazing! I want nice boobs lol

Have you looked at lift pics without implants? I don't think they look amazing. I'm sure they are a relief and less hanging, but I don't think they are very perky or shapely. You can do a search online and there are lots of surgeons who post before and after pics.

I think after having saggy DDDs for so long that hurt my back even less than perfect smaller lifted boobs would be a relief. I don't care if I still have to wear bras and can at least get a decent strapless or convertible bra to hold them up more. It's just too much of a pain having such heavy boobs. My back hurts and I quit jogging back in high school, running with your arms in front of you to stop the bounce, even with 2 sports bras on doesn't work very well

I think it depends on brand and what I wear but ddd is an F cup and I could fit into some Gs. We are the same size almost...don't you hate them. I can't cross my arms well, when I eat I have a built in plate rest lol

Just an option - I was fitted for a sports bra at Nordstroms, and I am so in love with this bra! It's like each breast is sitting on a pillow, but the support is amazing! I'm now a 36G. It's panache underwire sports bra. It's made for us larger breasted folks.

Not sure what my issue is, but I can't stand underwire anymore. I think after too many broken poky wires and them not fitting well even after being "fitted" has ruined me on underwire lol

I just ordered one of these off Amazon! I had heard wonderful things. So glad to hear you love yours.Sigh...I so hoped for easier to fit boobs! I went from a 44DD to a 32DD which is almost harder to find!

Once I lose my weight, I won't have to worry about bras. I can just take a pair of long tube socks, sew them together and add straps! ????

Well in this bra I don't feel the under wires at all. The shape of the bra - it makes my saggy girls look pretty darn good, I will say so myself! It is the underwire that helps with that.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
