how often do you weigh yourself?

Simple question.. I think everyday is a little too much but weighing myself has become one of my favorite parts of my day! Just wanting some feedback to see what everyone one else says! :) Thanks!

I do not have scales at home but from experience before losing weight....scales kept me in check! If i had scales now maybe I wouldn't be up almost 10 lbs! (I'm 1 year 3 months out)....

I don't own a scale, so I try to check my weight about once/week at work so I have something to post on my ticker. It's probably not super accurate since I am fully clothed, sometimes with boots and jacket and sometimes before Breakfast and sometimes after a lunch or snack, depending on when I remember to do it. But it gives me a general idea of my trends.

Hi! Like you weighing myself has become one of my favorite parts of the day I'm loving seeing numbers that begin with a 2 instead of a 3. However, I only record the weight on a weekly basis, so the fluctuations between days "don't count".

I only weigh myself once a month. If I were to weigh everyday it would screw with my mind. If the scale was down I would think great I can eat more. If the scale was up I would say, screw it why bother. This is working great for me. As long as my clothes feel better I am happy. I do take my measurements every 2 weeks and that really helps.

I weigh daily, same time. I keep a spreadsheet with my numbers. I need to be able to see and track.

I weigh myself everyday. I feel like it really messes with my head though. I need to weigh only once a week. I let the scale affect my mood. I think I need my husband to take the scale away. I see it and I weigh. Not good

I've been weighing everyday and I think it's becoming somewhat of an obsession and I just don't know if it's the best idea. It's good to know I might not be going crazy.

I weigh myself once, every morning when I wake up, and write it down in a calendar. I've been doing this for years and I notice the times where my weight really went up were the times when I wasn't weighing every day. It keeps you cognizant of gains a lot more quickly than if you only weigh every once in awhile.

I use to weigh myself every morning and it would always mess with my mind. Like one minute after a hard work out I would be down about 5 lbs. Then go home drink Water and go to sleep. Then in the morning weigh my self and have gained like 3 lbs back. It was a mind game even when I know it was probably water weight. So now I weigh in either once a week or every 2 weeks.

I weigh myself every morning when I wake up right before my shower. I did that even before my surgery.

Everyday. I keep track of my first morning weigh in but then jump on and off that thing all day long. It's an obsession....and not a healthy one.

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
