Oh my god, I've been so out of the loop I didn't even realize the first official LBT-fest is happening this weekend! I'm so sorry I can't be there, but life is absolutely crazy this season for me.

Have a wonderful time, everyone! We wanna hear stories. What happens in Vegas, gets posted on LBT!! ;):):D

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas?

It just can't stay in Vegas, not when so many of us are living vicariously through you!

We want pics. We want stories. Dish the dirt!

I wish I could be there, but, alas, gotta work, gotta take care of the love of my life.

Have a great time!

I am SO SO SO SO excited!!! But I am so sad that we ALL can't be there... :)

I'll be thinking of you guys, and if nothing exciting happens (uh, yeah, RIGHT! lol), we will make up lots of stories for all of your entertainment!

We'll each have a drink in your honors. Let's see, 1400+ members, -21 attendees... ooopss, not all attendees are members. Uh, okay, just to make it easy, that's 1400+ drinks apeice... hic ;)

Okay, that is just TOO much to ask, Donali. Those of us at home should help out a little. So... Let's say Sat. eve. at 9 p.m. Pacific time I'll raise my glass to all the happy bandsters in Vegas.

That's about 7 p.m. for you, right Betty? Cheers!

Hope your trip is safe, memorable, and a whole lot of fun. ;)

P.S. All of you guys east of the Mississipi will have to figure that one out. Us West coast people just lump that whole area in "back east." :)

There is a lot responsibilty to keep the rest of us shut-ins posted on all the goings on there at the fabulous Lisa (aka DeLarla) abode.

Margaritas back-up on me these days, but I'll have a glass of wine or two in your honor.

(Well I'll actually be working the Silent Auction at the High School, and they might frown on that - but I'll be thinking of you any way!)

Whatever happens in Vegas gets posted on LBT? That's the funniest thing I've heard all day. Snooty Oprah didn't even acknowledge our invitation; otherwise you'd all be watching it on national TV.

As far as pictures, my computer's always on, so I'll personally download shots as the days progress. I refuse to be the only one being embarrassed this weekend so I installed a hidden camera in the clothing exchange room for some great underwear shots when they're trying on clothes. Illegal, but great all the same. And I will try to get guacamole up somone's nose. Can't make any promises, but I can try.

I have 25 items of clothing at the resale store (she sells them on consignment then sends monthly checks.) They've been there since August, but I haven't received a dime yet. So I just called to say I was picking them up to add to our clothing exchange since not even one item has sold. But she won't let me have them! She said she has to keep them for a certain time before I can have them back!

No problem. Tomorrow, we go to war.

Signing off now... my work week is over, it's party time! I'm off to the store for last minute thingys for the party. Sure wish more of you could come... there's still a vacant bed at my house!

I got three count em three bags of clothes to bring. Mostly size 22/24 with some 24 thrown in there.

One bag is all casual

One bag is all pants (jeans, dress pants, capris, etc)

One bag is all dressy clothes

I have a 5 bathing suits. One is a leopard print with a leopard sarong. Roar Even!!

I have a bag of shoes. Ranging in size from 8 1/2W to 10W.

I emptied out half my closet of stuff. And two drawers in my chest. LOL!!! Who knew I had drawers in my chest. LOL!! So that is why they were so big.

I don't want anything back. It all goes to you guys or to the women's shelter.

I am so looking forward to this trip. I am all giddy.

I just made my son some chocolate Peanut Butter oatmeal Cookies for his birthday. You guys should have seen his face. He lit up like a christmas tree. Tomorrow is his birthday. I am taking him to school then going walking then coming home take a shower and loading the van and then hitting the road.

See ya tomorrow night.

Penni, DON'T BE LATE! It's 10:14 p.m., and I see JohnEmpire is on line. Tell him to get his butt in bed... and what the heck are you doing up so late? I KNOW you'll read this before you leave, so get to bed and get to Vegas already!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!
