My NUT advises against the gummies. She does recommend Flintstones Complete chewables. I suggest you compare the labels to check the differences.

All chewables make me gag and liquids are out too. I've been taking 3 tiny capsules / day but they stink and taste terrible . At 7.5 months out from being sleeved I'm thinking of trying regular full sized centrums. Anyone else try this?

Are you post op yet? Beagle lover?

We all don't have the same surgeon or NUT so everyone's post op rules will slightly vary. My surgeon said 2 gummies everyday and I will be fine. If my preop levels were off or if I had certain comorbidities my surgeon might have given me different directions. I think as long as you can keep what you are taking down and your blood work comes back good you should be fine.

I went to a seminar with a pharmacist speaker and she said the reason we shouldn't do gummy's or that most doctors don't want you to take them is because we have very little acid in our new little tummies and it doesn't stay long enough to break down and therefore you may not get all if what it has to offer. This is why they recommend the chewables.

Bariatic Advantage launched a new Vitamin called

Ultra Multi Formula with Iron

It has everything except the required Calcium. I just added 2 calcium chews a day. These are easy to swallow capsules and not big like the other horse pill Vitamins. I don't mind the price either. I take it 3 times a day. The bottle has 270 capsules for $49.95. That's a 90 day supply! My doc office found out about it and recommended it. I love the ease of taking it!

Go to their website and check it out. Below is the link:

I was out sourcing my supplies today and came across a liquid Vitamin. Anyone have success with liquid?

I found one too, does the one you found have Iron? It wasn't in the brand I found.

IF there is Calcium in it, Iron shouldn't be taken at the same time... maybe that's why.

I know... that's why I was looking for one with Iron. It didn't have calcium either. Which is why I asked which one you found.

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
