Toys and Orgasms

Recommended Posts

I have been married almost 22 years. Since I have lost the weight 2 1/2 yrs ago with surgery I finally have found out what a true orgasm is. Not that I didn't have them before, but I think im more in "tune" with what's going on when they happen. The only thing is it takes a vibrator plus my hubby to get there, and its freakin amazing! I hope my hubby doesn't think that he is not good enough for it to be just him? Anyone else have to have a toy to get there?

Been married 21 years and toys are the spice we added quite a ways back. Sometimes they're used sometimes not. At first it was me including them and he is totally into it

Really communication is the key. Make sure you're both good with it. And then get the toys you can use together.

Ha - good for you! Totally normal to need a little help to get there.

Can you recommend a toy that you can use together? I have to have one too and it would be nice to have something that was more for both of us.

Pm me too!! lol I might have used it already but I would like to know as well. I have found just a mini vibrator that has super strong vibrations works wonders for me and my hubby.

Athena's makes toys for couples.. Specifically ones that a man wears around his penis and there is a small vibrator attached to the top of the ring ,so that when he is inside you the vibrator is resting on your clitoris !! I highly recommend those , they have a few kinds/shapes .. Even one that is USB rechargeable!!

The problem arises when the guy refuses to have anything wrapped around his penis. I have a bullet but I find it to be a pain because it makes my whole hand vibrate when I'm trying to hold it there and I find it distracting. I'd like to find something that is tiny or mini that Tiff was talking about.

Check out the Lelo line. A little more expensive but Fabulous. I think the Ida is for both.

They have a great warranty too. I've had mine for two years and it still works as well as the day I got it

Its perfectly normal. We need a little extra considering where are "button" is. I took an anthropology class and learned that happened because we stand on two feet. I learned that some species of primates have their clitoris much closer to their opening.

I use toys I have a whole bunch for all sorts of things lol
I don’t need double stimulation but toys are fun everyone should have them so I do!
I added a pic of one it’s a good toy to have for inserting or a clit stimulator you hold and can have your hand further up out of the way so to speak.
And it’s a strong little bugger too its called the multispeed slimline G-spot vibrator

I second the Lelo... :) pricy but the other toys just never seem to get any play time after getting one. lol.

I have one of those but I've never thought to use it as a clit stimulator. That would be good because the bullet makes my whole hand vibrate and it's annoying.

Thanks for a good idea. I am going to try it.

Question for anyone, how did you get your mind right before surgery? Like as far as eating better foods and just doing better in general? I'm having a really hard time with this. Any help is appreciated 🙏❤️

I had about 6 months between deciding to do surgery and getting scheduled. I came across the book The Pound of Cure by Dr. Matthew Weiner, a bariatric surgeon in Arizona, and started to implement some of the changes he recommended (and lost 13 lbs in the process without ever feeling deprived). The book is very simple, and the focus is on whole, plant based foods, but within reason. It's not an all or nothing approach, or going vegan or something, but focuses on improvement and aiming for getting it right 80-90% of the time. His suggestions are divided into 12 sections that you can tackle over time, perhaps one per month for a year if a person is just trying to improve nutrition and build good habits. They range from things like cutting out artificial sweetener or eating more beans to eating a pound of vegetables per day. I found it really effective pre-surgery and it's an eating style I will be working to get back to as I am further out from surgery and have more capacity. Small changes you can sustain will do the most for building good habits for life.

That sounds awesome. I'll have to check that out thanks!

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
Just for fun last week, I ran two 5Ks in two days, something I would have never done in the past! Next goal is a 10K before the end of this month.

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??  Doctor says just increase calorie intake, still the same.

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️
