Current weight for 7/28 is 146. 11 pounds to goal!!!!

I think that I forgot to post last week.

7/21 - 180

7/28 - 179.5

I have been bopping up and down the same few lbs for the past month. I'm not sure if I am content with maintenance here or not -- I think I am, but am worried about the regain. I'm going to try to clean up my after dinner eating and see how that goes.

Checking in....whew what a rough week. It figures when I start this challenge my body starts going into what I say is a stall since I had been losing weight more quickly than right now...I'm 4 weeks out and in the last two only lost 2lbs

So my weigh in for today is 235

My current weight is 295, I think I need to shrift l adjust my goal lower, can I change it to 275?

so close to goal and yet so far away. Goal is 199, weight today? 200. loss of 3 lbs though so that's good. (and 40 all together)

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        As I understand it since your stomach is smaller and not completely resting against your diaphragm anymore you no longer have the ability to "push" burps out as well. Plus, since its smaller and we don't digest slower the trapped air moves a lot quicker out of the stomach so its no longer available to burp out. Hence the other option for removal.

        Me too girl!! Are you in the full liquid diet right now? It’s sooooo hard!

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
