did you go back to liquids? Not Clear Liquids, but a full liquid diet shoul straighten that out.

I had a few phases of burps after the operation which I figured was AIR from the operation! Felt good to churn some of it up and out because I looked pregnant again. I get the occasional back end whistle now. Can handle that.

I agree that the gas is from being out....it should go away in a few days....the best thing is to get moving....walk walk walk and drink lots of Water.....I just had a general on Wednesday and thats what I did to get things back to norm....good luck good luck

you don't say when you were banded. Are you newly banded? Have you had your band for a while? Did you drink from a straw, take in too much air while you ate etc. GasX won't help if it's the way you're eating..walking will help with it somewhat.

walk walk walk, sip sip sip. I know you don't feel like walking. I'm a week post-op and I STILL don't want to do it, but know I have to. SUCKS. But this too shall pass!

How long have you been banded? I had these symptoms, had an endo found out it was gastritis. Had to have my fill removed for a month to let my esophagus rest.

My problem is I can't burp. I feel it needing to come out but just pain and then it goes away for a while. Any ideas for that?

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
