I don't know this new sleeve yet, only for weeks out. I ate two meatballs and I am curled over in agony. What do I do now?

get up and walk, walk, walk. Even if you just walk around in a circle. It will help. Good luck. DId you eat it fast ?

Sip some Water and get up and walk it off. It dies take some adjustment to eating habits. I eat too fast and before I know it I overeat. Slow down and chew chew chew. I set my fork down between each bit and sit back and enjoy dinner conversation a little more. You will get to the right place. But you quickly learn that overrating feels bad and not worth it.

Laying down can be the worst thing. Sit up straight and it will work it's way thru system in time. It's not fun. I ate one meatball 3 weeks out and I was in a world of hurt. Hopefully by the time you read this you'll be feeling better.

If you are producing a lot of saliva, start spitting so that you swallow as little as possible. If you already have swallowed a lot, try to make yourself throw up (this will give you some relief).

Then get up and start walking slowly and the feeling will subside in about an hour.

And remember this experience so that it doesn't happen again!

Sorry, no, ingesting anything else will only make her feel worse. Her tiny stomach is already full, there is no where for the Water to go!

Otherwise you're spot on!

Thanks all. I'm at a work dinner so was preoccupied. I thought two meatballs might be too many, but knew I'd stop when I was full. Then I got distracted and took that one bite too many. I tried to throw up, but it didn't work. I just walked and walked and am feeling better now. I'm not going to eat when I can't focus on how I feel. Lesson learned.

4 weeks out I was on pureed food. 5 weeks out I choked on a piece of soft chicken. The pain felt like a heart attack. I went on soft food 2 more weeks. Live and learn. At 6 months post sleeve I still am very cautious what I eat. Feel better.

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks
