<Rob Zombie>

You're welcome; however, I would not consider Rob to be techno (unless you're listening to super swingin sexy sounds! lol). Rob is hard core sexy ass metal! (and i love him!) :car:

That's right...it WAS you! LOL I really don't consider him techno, either. When you suggested it, I went on Limewire and searched for his stuff, and almost every song was listed under the Techno genre. (???) So that is how Rob led me to techno. At any rate, it works for me since there are techno songs on there that are 15 and 20 minutes long...really helps me keep my legs pumping the pedals on the 15 mile round-trip trail at the park where I ride!

Speaking of trails, there are a lot of you on here that live in DFW also. Can anyone tell me about Trinity Trails in Ft. Worth? I've heard it's a great running trail (I DO NOT RUN) but was wondering if it was good, or even allowed, for bikes. I have no idea what the surface of those trails are, but that's only about 10 minutes or so from where I live. I can't seem to find good info on it.

Ok, I did not really think about what I was doing. My friend had a crawfish boil tonight. I downed a crap load of crawfish and about 6 beers. The last time I drank was back in march and 90lbs ago (I was feeling darn drunk after about 2 drinks but I did not stop) what really bugged me was the fact that I could eat so much crawfish and I never really felt full. I have had one fill and my doc really don't want to do more because I am only 30lbs from my goal. I was drinking the sametime as when I was eating. maybe that's why I never felt full. I know the crawfish is good Protein but the beer could not be good for me, but it the first time in a long time. I think if I only do this one or two times a year I will be in good shape. I think I will worklout a little more in the tmorning. Anyhow I really feel like crap about what I did tonight and I wanted to get it off my back.

Yup, I'm going for my 3rd fill! I'm scheduling it tomorrow. Who ever thought I'd need permission or validation? Ha! I ate tacos tonight, and could eat 3. Later I ate 2 more. That convinced me I had no restriction left. It disappeared. I love it when I had it though, it just didn't last.

Most of the music I listen to is alt rock but I like folky artists like Sheryl Crow, Cranberries too and some bluesey Rhianna and Robin Thicke thrown in. But I'll be heirloom quilting a fussy customer's quilt on my longarm machine and I'll be rocking out to Disturbed or Three Days Grace! LOL When I work out, it's Timberlake or Eminem...something about beat. On the piano, all I play is classical or hymns. My taste is all over the place.

You probably don't have much restriction yet CD. You've done it all on your own and you should be bloody pround. What you did was fine, especially for a guy. You would go nuts if you couldn't let loose now and then. You will reach your goal and with the help of the band, you'll keep it off.

Rhonda, hopefully this one will do the trick.

Dan

You were relaxing and having fun, does not mean you will do it all the time! Don't beat yourself up. You are an exercise person, you will work it out!!!

I went to a crab house last weekend, sat and ate hard shell crabs and had 3 beers over a course of 3 hours. I was the dd, my dh usually does not drink and is usually the dd. But it was hot, we were on a deck on the river and it was fun. I did not dip my crab in butter, and you eat little specks. I could only eat half a tray, my dh said it was a waiste, but I love them. I brought the rest home for my son.

How did the beer settle? I did not have a problem that time, but a few weeks ago I drank 2 beers and when I went to bed and layed down, I could feel it bubbling? It was weird.

Ladyhr what a GREAT Weight Loss!! Keep up the good work!

sussie, hotty toddy, pippz thanks for sharing about your feelings regarding giving up the food, and your portion sizes. You are the leaders in the fills and restriction! I have only had one fill, and do not have that yet. I do only eat the three meals, but don't get full after a few bites. but after the suggested portion. so I feel I am doing ok. But I am eager to be where you are!

Rhonda, how much do you have in your band already going for your 3 fill? it seems like you can eat a lot. It is so different the way each doctor fills differently.

My dh 12 yr old daughter gave me her Ipod shuffle for she got the nano for her birthday. we went through all her music and deleted what I did not want. Her and her sister have been listening to the 80's so some of the music is good. I will look through my dh list tonight and add more. the only problem with the shuffle is it does just that, you can put in a catagory. but it is good for now!

Picture - Big & Rich, 2 Foot Fred, and Cowboy Troy. You may have heard the song - Save a Horse, Ride a Cowboy or their new #1 Lost in the Moment, but if you don't listen to country, you may not of! :-) That is all I listen too now, but I also like good old Rock and Roll - Stones, Aerosmith, Van Halen.

I am off to Orlando for a business meeting, so I will see how flying goes with the band. I should be able to buckle the seatbelt now without an extension! Talk to you all on Wednesday! Have a great week.

Java, I have 4 cc in my 10 cc band.

My weight loss on the cleansing diet I did last week leveled out at 4 pounds lost. I felt so much better not having any salt, so I'm trying to limit that this week. I have definitely lost the cravings for sugar like I used to have---I was a sugar addict. Now a small candy seems to satisfy and often it's too sweet. fruit is much better.

Back on the straight and narrow today for me.

It's true, each doctor seems to fill differently. If I went back to Dr. Ortiz, I would have had my fill under fluoro and it would be more precise. That was the tradeoff for finding a local place. My ARNP will only do 2 cc at a time. I told them I have the 10cc and felt nothing after the first fill, and little after the second. They just chuckled and said come back in a month.

STEF - I'm soooooo sorry but I laughed at your donut situation!! I was craving a Krispy Kreme this morning, but was scared to death of it!! Since my fill on Thursday I'm scared to eat alot of stuff.

Today for lunch I had a lean POcket - and it went down very slowly, not stcuk, just slow, and it made my tummy gurggle LOUDLY! I don't know how my co-workers eating with me couldn't hear it!?!?!?!

OK, here is my confession (since Stef can confess to her donut!)

I started today off good with a Protein Shake at 7am (still having these 2-4 times a week cause I don't do good just 'eating' protein). THen I didn't get hungry until about noon, so at 1230 I had a chicken & cheese quesadilla Lean Pocket. Of course I got in about 60oz Water during the work day...

Then I got home. And I ate about 4-5 Cookies worth of choc chip cookie dough. WHY?!?! And worse yet - thats ALL I've eaten today!! No veggies, no fruit, very little Protein. I'm not hungry and don't want food - and you have no idea how annoyed I am at writing THAT!

Be afraid of the donut!

Be VERY afraid of the donut!

Step AWAY from the donut or you will IMPLODE!

They are EVIL!

I'm just now feeling a little normal. I slimed horribly but it just would not come back up! And I wanted it to so badly. That HURT!

My third fill was on Thursday, too...what was I thinking?

Don't beat yourself up too badly, Suzzie. We all goof up, for sure. We just can't make a habit of it. Make tommorrow a good food day and you will be just fine.

However, THANKS A LOT! Now I want a Sonic Cookie Dough Blast! What is it with me and ice cream lately? Before surgery I would eat ice cream maybe three or four times a year...now I want it all the time!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
